TEACHING INTERESTS

As an Assistant Professor at NUS, Dr. Chan is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, with a teaching portfolio that spans clinical neurology, sleep medicine, autonomic function testing, and neuroimmunology. She supervises medical students, residents, and fellows on both the theory and practice of diagnosing small fiber neuropathies, dysautonomias, and sleep-related neurological disorders. She emphasizes a translational, evidence-based approach, teaching clinical neurology and neuroimmunology. In addition to authoring educational resources for trainees, Dr. Chan has published a highly cited clinical algorithm in Muscle & Nerve and contributed to the Residents and Fellows Section of Neurology, shaping postgraduate neurology training worldwide.
