BIO

Dr. Amanda Chan is a Senior Consultant Neurologist at the Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine, National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is the current section lead for the Small Fiber and Autonomic Laboratory at NUH. Dr. Chan’s academic and clinical path spans the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore, with interest and experience in small fiber neuropathy/autonomic disorders and sleep medicine. She is credentialed in sleep neurology with a Master of Medicine (Sleep Medicine) from the University of Sydney and integrates her PhD training in neuroimmunology with the evaluation of neuropathic pain and dysautonomia. She has established Singapore’s dedicated SFN and autonomic neuropathy service and database, advancing both diagnostics and translational research in these under-recognized but impactful neurological conditions.
